Carl Jennings

Carl Lee Jennings, affectionately known as "Kermit", was born to the late Jim Frank & Ollie Jennings on March 6th, 1966 in Portageville, MO. He peacefully departed his earthly life at the age of 57, on July 12th, 2023 while asleep at his home located in Howardville, MO, due to prolonged health complications.

He had a twin sister and eight other siblings that he grew up with and loved dearly. A well-known native of Portageville, MO, Carl graduated high school in the year 1986. He provided 25 years of faithful service to Trinity Composite Group until his health declined.

Carl dedicated his life to Christ and was an active member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church in New Madrid for over 20 years. He was the steadfast deacon board chairman until his passing.

He was predeceased by his father (07/24/2009), mother (03/13/2017) and siblings George Ann Jennings (11/29/2014), Robert Allen Jennings (11/13/2014), Donnie ray Jennings (09/13/2019) and, Loretta Jennings (03/22/2022) .

Carl leaves to cherish and keep his memory alive his daughter Vantashia Carlisha Jennings (Tavian Livingston), and one grandson Jonas lee Jennings of Jacksonville, NC, brothers John Eddie & Edward Charles Jennings of Portageville, MO, and sisters Dorrie Ann of Lilbourn, MO, Arvelia & Daisy lee Jennings of Portageville, MO. As well as host of many loving relatives, church family, and friends who will never forget the loving impact he had on them throughout his life.
