Buford W. Slaughter

W as born November 13, 1933 in Troy, Tennessee to Mae Langley Slaughter and Robert Slaughter.  He passed away on February 2, 2022 at Gideon Care Nursing Home  at the age of 88 years, two months and twenty days.

Preceding him in death was his parents, Lona Mae Langley Slaughter, and Robert Slaughter, also preceding  his was his sister, Judy Coble. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the United State Army.

He was united in marriage on February 11, 1967 in Collinsville, Ill to Florence Price she survives of the home. Bud was a deputy in the local area between the years of 1975 thru 2003.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, of fifty five years Florence Slaughter of Portageville, MO. His Daughter, Brenda Sills, of Manhattan, Kansas, One Grandson, Adam Sills, of Manhattan, Kansas and Brother, Wayne Slaughter of Portageville, Mo.  One Sister, Pat Lohr,  of Cabot, Arkansas. Two Daughters, Donna and Linda and Two Sons, Mark and Paul and 6 Grandchildren and 5 Great grandchildren all living in England, and a host of many others relatives and friends.
