Bruce Emanuel Simpson, age 65 years, 11 months, and 3 days, of Jacksonville, Arkansas, and formerly of Sikeston, Missouri, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2026, at the UAMS Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Bruce was born on July 31, 1960, in Sikeston, Missouri, to the late Loyne Simpson and Ann (Porter) Simpson. He honorably served his country as a veteran of the United States Air Force during Operation Desert Storm. An avid outdoorsman, Bruce had a deep passion for hunting, fishing, and building things. Above all else, he cherished the time he spent with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Loyne and Ann Simpson; his brothers, Jerry Simpson  and Brad Simpson; and his sisters, Joyce Patterson Simpson and Sandy Thompson.

His legacy lives on through his survivors, who include his son, Robie Simpson of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his daughter, Christy Simpson of Jacksonville, Arkansas; three brothers, Larry (Mary Lou) Simpson of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Bobby Simpson of New Madrid, Missouri, and Dalton (Terry) Simpson of Portageville, Missouri; and one sister, Marcy (Sam) Faulkner of LaForge, Missouri. He is also survived by his four beloved grandchildren: Oaklynne Stivers, Wrenleigh Winn, Waylon Winn, and Weston Winn.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the DeLisle Funeral Home.

Funeral services will take place on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the DeLisle Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mounds Park Cemetery.
