Brenda Joyce (Creasy) Newton

Was born December 29, 1953, in Portageville MO to the late Noah C. Creasy & Mary Elizabeth (Hawkins) Creasy. She passed on Tuesday December 9, 2025 at Poplar Bluff Regional Hospital in Poplar Bluff MO at the age of 71 years, 11 months & 9 days.

She was united in marriage on April 27, 1996, in Portageville, to Randy Allen Newton, he preceded her in death after her parents; Mary Elizabeth & Noah Columbus Creasey and also her brothers; Bobby Ray, Raymond, Noah T. & Glen R. Creasy. Three brothers – in – law, John Thacker, Larry Russell, James Dean Newton & one sister- in- law: Lou Ann Creasy. Brenda loved reading watching TV and friends gathering and especially talking care of her son, James Paul Morrison Jr. (JJ).

She leaves to cherish her memory; her son; James Paul Morrison better know as JJ, her brother Gerald (Yuxiang) Creasy of Salem MO, Linda Mae Thacker (Creasy) & Tanzy Russell (Creasy) of Portageville, two living brothers-in-law; Floyd Davis & Rich Loomis, four sisters-in-law; Barbara Davis, Robin Loomis, Jackie Creasy & Xuxiang Creasy, one step son, Nick Newton & a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and other relatives & friends
