Bonzie Faye Hinton

Bonzie Faye Hinton was born on October 21, 1934, in Boekerton, MO. to the late Bernice (Simer) Hughes & Clyde "Bobby" Hughes, she passed away on Saturday, June 21,2025 in St. Charles, MO, at the age of 90 years and 8 months.

On June 15, 1956, in Portageville she married the love of her life, Roy Hinton, they just recently celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary.

Preceding her in death was her parents, Bernice (Simer) Hughes and Clyde "Bobby" Hughes, also preceding her was one brother, Sonny Hughes.

Mrs. Bronzie was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church where she was Sunday School Teacher for over 25 years. Along with Mr. Roy was a youth sponsor while us kids were in high school.  She was co- owner of the Country Squire a men & boys clothing store. served in various clubs in her earlier years, she had a love for her community and people in general.

She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Aubrey Roy Hinton of Portageville, MO,; three children: Craig Hinton of Irvington KY, Roy Glen Hinton of Portageville, Melissa Hollander & husband Mark of St. Charles MO; her grandchildren; Brittney Hinton, Ivie Hinton, Caleb Hinton all of Portageville, MO,  Piper Young of Scott City, MO, Katie Nation & Maggie Hollander of St. Charles MO and Charlie Gray of Kennett, MO and a host of great grandchildren and many many beloved friends.
