Bobby Joe Wheeler was born on April 24, 1938, in Portageville, MO. to the late Beulah Burris Wheeler & William Wheeler. He passed away on Friday July 4, 2025, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, MO, at the age of 87 years 2 months.

Preceding him in death was his parents, Beulah Burris Wheeler and William Wheeler, also preceding, him was one son, Marty Wheeler, brothers: Marion, Rondell, Melvin, Billy Wayne Wheeler, one sister, Valerie Wheeler. He was united in marriage to Betty Sue (Sharp) Wheeler on December 10, 1955 in Hernando Mississippi, she preceded him in death on February 24, 2008, they enjoyed over 50 years of wedded bliss and she was his one true love. He retired from the Fonco Corporation, where he worked for over 40 years. He loved to fish and spend time with the grandchildren.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his daughters; Toni (Greg) Kiburz of Foley, Al, Kimberley (Thomas) Sydnor of Hillsboro, MO, Dana (Nic) Antoine of Nashville, Il, daughter- in- Law, Sharon Wheeler of St. Louis, MO, sister, Fay Parker of Sikeston, MO, Patricia Marshall of Harrison, AR, brothers, Larry Wheeler of  Lowell,  AR, Terry Wheeler of Portageville, MO, Johnny Wheeler of Portageville, MO, 16 Grandchildren, 25 Great Grandchildren and a host of many other relatives and friends.
