Bentonville, AR - Bobby Gene Inmon, 86, died November 20, 2022 at Bradford House Nursing Home after a long fight with Parkinson's, Diabetes, and Congestive Heart Failure. His loving wife Tootsie was with him when he passed into the arms of Jesus. He was born October 27, 1936 in Keiser, AR, the son of Narlan and Maggie Geraldine (Rutledge) Inmon.
Bob graduated from Portageville High School in 1954. He married his high school sweetheart Gladys "Tootsie" McCrory on December 2, 1956 in Portageville, MO. They would have celebrated 66 years of marriage this year. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Linda McNabney. Survivors in addition to his wife Gladys "Tootsie" (McCrory) Inmon, are his daughter Lana and her husband Randy McCrary of Hayti, MO and son Randy Inmon and his wife Marni of Rogers, AR. 8 grandchildren, Jared McCrary, Jordan McCrary, Amanda Coburn (Brad), Joel McCrary (Ashley), Corey Inmon (Kimberly), Chelsey Haddon (Jonathan), Ryan Inmon, Benjamin Inmon and 14 great-grandchildren, one brother Donald Inmon (Jeanie) and one sister, Jerry Alfrey (William) and brother-in-law Bill McNabney and several nieces and nephews.
Bobby was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ and served as a deacon at several Southern Baptist Churches over his lifetime. He was in Rotary and Jaycee's. He loved storytelling, woodworking, fishing and deer hunting especially at the Men's Annual Deer Hunt and Bible Retreat at Lake Forest Ranch in Mississippi where he was an Outdoor Buddy. Bob served in the Army and Army National Guard. He owned Bob's Daisy Queen in Hayti, MO for 22 years. He was a Municipal Judge in Hayti, MO. He was an insurance agent for Rural Insurance in Wisconsin for 10 years. Visitation for family will be at 9am, 10am for the community and the service will be at 11am. This will take place at Delisle Funeral Home in Portageville, MO on Saturday, November 26, 2022.
