Blaine Edward Martin was born Jan. 13, 1935 in Portageville, Missouri to Juanita Prince Martin & Ed Lawrence Martin. He passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at the Herritage Garden Nursing Center in Portageville at the age of 75 years, 3 months and 22 days. He was united in marriage to Shirley Mullins on July 19, 1956 in Portageville MO she survives of the home. Preceding him in death, was his father, Ed Lawrence Martin. He was a School Principal for 30 years, received his Masters Degree in Elementary Education from Arkansas State. He farmed all of his adult life and loved woodworking, boating, water skiing and steel fabrication, he also was a member of the First Church of God in Portageville, MO. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife Shirley Martin of Portageville, MO His mother; Juanita Martin of Portageville, MO, 2 sons, Steven Blaine Martin Barry Wayne Martin both of Portageville MO, One brother, George Harold Martin of Cory, Mississippi 5 Grand Children; Jessica Stafford & Spencer Martin, Nathan Martin, Ashton Schlitt all of Portageville and Jake Schlitt of Hawaii , 1 Great Grandchild Colby Garrett Stafford of Portageville MO
