He died Saturday January 15, 2011 at Springfield MO at the age of 82 years, 1 month and 28 days. He was first united in marriage to Alta Henson on October 1, 1949 in Piggott, Arkansas she proceeded him in death on February 27, 1993 He was united in marriage to Mary Maxine James on March 3, 2001 at Dexter, MO she survives of the home in Springfield, MO. Preceding him in death, were his parents, John Francis Brown & Maurillian Maloney Bolden, infant son John Stephen Brown and sister Jessie Young, two brothers and sister at a very young age. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Portageville, MO A retired State Farm Insurance agent for 31 years and a past member of the Kiwanis's Club Veteran of the Korean war service as a Sgt. In the United States Marine Corp.
