Bill Hayes

W as born October 27, 1926 in rural Pemiscot County to Hurtle Hayes and Nelle Ferguson Hayes. He passed away Monday, August 20, 2018 at his home in Portageville, MO at the age of 91 years, 9 months and 24 days.

P receding him in death were his parents: Nelle Ferguson Hayes and Hurtle Hayes and one brother, Ralph Hayes. On February 01, 1948 in Pemiscot County, MO he married Maxine Hayes. She preceded him in death on September 14, 2011. He was a 32 ^nd degree mason and a member of the Scottish Rights. He served in the U.S army. In 1957 he started the Bill Hayes Ford Dealership in Portageville and ran it until 1995 after 38 years of service to the community.

H e leaves to cherish his memories: his son, Ronnie (Dianne) Hayes of Frisco, TX; two grandchildren, Ronald "Keith" Hayes Jr. and Holly (Dan) McCall both of Frisco, TX; three great grandchildren: Katelyn McCall, Ronald "Trip" Hayes III and Atticus Hayes; a very special care giver, Shelia Polk and a host of many other relatives and friends.
