Betty Wheeler Was born January 11, 1939 in Bald Knob, Arkansas to Ethel Humphries Sharp and Prentice Sharp. She died Sunday; Feb. 24, 2008 at Uniontown, MO at the age of 69 years, 1 month and 13 days. She was united in marriage to Bobby Wheeler in Hernando, MS on December 10, 1955, he survives of the home. Preceding her in death were her parents, Ethel Humphries Sharp & Prentice Sharp; 5 brothers, Matthew, Leo, Earl, Victor and Bobby Sharp; 1 sister, Pauline Bewley; one grandchild, Shane Wheeler and one great-grandchild, Brendan Wiles. She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Bobby Wheeler of the home (Uniontown, MO) 1 son: Marty (Sharon) Wheeler of St. Louis, MO; 3 daughters: Toni, (Mitchell) McGhee of Uniontown, MO, Kimberly (Thomas) Sydnor of Hillsboro, MO, Dana (Nic) Antoine of Uniontown, MO; 1 brother, Larry (Claudia) Sharp of St. Charles, MO; 1 sister:, Violet Scroggins of Cahokia, Il; 16 grandchildren; Shane, Zachary, Shiloh, Kyle, Ukaih, Sierra, Chloe, Chelsea, Cody Wheeler, Richard Fritschle Jr. Shellie Wiles, Tiffanie Wheeler, Tayler Sydnor , Abigail , Grace, & Olivia Antoine; 9 great-grandchildren; Camilla Wheeler, Dylan, Ashtyn & Faith Fritschle, Allen & Brendan Wiles, Kale, Kadin & Breyona Wheeler and a host of other relatives and friends. Services were conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday February 27, 2008 at the DeLisle Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Brown officiating. Pallbearers were: Chris Wiles, Tom Sydnor, Terry Wheeler, Erick Wheeler, Jeff Wheeler & Larry Wheeler. Interment followed in Portageville Cemetery with the DeLisle Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
