Betty Sue Ellis

W as born Feb. 8, 1933 in Portageville, Missouri to Walter Tanner and Eula (Montgomery) Tanner. She died Friday; March 31, 2017 at Missouri Delta Medical Center, Sikeston, MO at the age of 84 years one month and 23 days.

S he was a member of the St Eustachius Catholic Church and loved being around her family and friends, going shopping and playing cards. Preceding her in death were her parents, Eula (Montgomery) Tanner and Walter Tanner, sisters: Wilma Underwood and Alba Mae Howard, brothers: Wilford Charles, W.A. Gooden, Lloyd and Sibert Tanner and one great grandson: Jacob Harris.

S he leaves to cherish her memories her daughters and son - in – laws, Susan (Kevin) Chambers of Atoka, TN, Angie (Jimmy) Toton of Portageville, MO and Jena (Sean) Woodall of Roanoke, VA, her sisters: Norma Jean (Ralph) Sander of Golden, Colorado and Syble Willey of Memphis, TN, her grandchildren: Bridgett Barnett, Chelsea Lynn Toton, Cassidy & Grant Woodall, Ellis & Sydney Chambers, great grandchildren: Hannah Barnett, Brayden Barnett, Blake Barnett, Caleb Pullum and a host of many other relatives and friends.
