Betty Lou Drerup Was born November 16, 1928 in Blytheville, Arkansas to Tennie O'neal RiKard and Phillip Orvall Bond. She died Thursday; April 14, 2011 at Portageville, MO at the age of 82 years, 4 months and 28 days. She was united in marriage August 31, 1955 in Portageville, Missouri to Richard (Dick) Drerup he survives of the home. Preceding her in death, were her parents, Tennie O'neal RiKard & Phillip Orvall Bond, And Step mother Ethel Trotter Bond and Step father Hillery Broughton. She was a member of St. Eustachius Catholic Church where she had served as Eucharist Minister & Greeter. She was a Cub Scout leader and served in various aspects of Little League & 4-H clubs. She was Co-owner of Dicks' TV Furniture and Appliance Company. She was a very active member of Portageville Chamber of Commerce and served as president. She was instrumental in getting the Portageville Helipad, also member of Cancer Support Group, she received the Jefferson Award and elected Business Person of the Year. She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband; Dick Drerup of Portageville, Mo Five sons: R. Dennis (Debbie) Drerup of Jackson, MO, David M. Drerup of Portageville, MO, Dexter J. (Cindy) Drerup of Blue Springs, MO, Dean M. Drerup of Jackson, MO, P. Duane (Lanna) Drerup of Birds Corner, MO. One daughter and son in law, Donna Lynn (Jim) Murry of Gauthier MS Seven Grand Children; and two Great Grandchildren, and a host many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Friday April 15, 2011 @ Funeral Home with the prayer service @ 7:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be Saturday April 15, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at the St. Eustachius Catholic church
