Betty Lou Corgan

W as born on August 17, 1931 in Kewanee, Missouri to the late Roy Lee Rhodes and Eunice Vera Puckett Rhodes.  She passed away on October 09, 2022 in Chaffee, Missouri at the age of 91 years, 1 month 23 days.

P receding her in death were her parents, Roy Lee and Eunice Vera Puckett Rhodes, her siblings, Cloise Rhodes, Shelton Rhodes, Jimmie Rhodes, Roy Thomas, Rhodes, Coyle "Skip" Rhodes, Harold "Scrog" Rhodes, Louise Rhodes Poyner, Addie Pauline Rhodes, Vera Elizabeth Rhodes, Helen Rhodes Tollison and Violet Rhodes Porter.

B etty was united in marriage to the love of her life, Bobby Corgan on November 13, 1950 in Downey, California.  To this union four children were born.  This family grew and lived in Portageville for many years.  Betty was the Human Resources Supervisor at Noranda Aluminum until her retirement.  She loved the Lord and was a member of the Miner Baptist Church.  She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren very much, and loved reading and doing crossword puzzles in her spare time.

S he leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Bobby Lee Corgan of Chaffee, MO, her sons, Ron (Shari) of Plant City, FL and Roy Corgan of Sikeston, MO,  her daughters, Kathy (Rick) Blankenship of Jackson, MO and Susie (Scott) Bilderback of Lowry City, MO, and nine grandchildren, Shawn (Rebeka) Corgan, Cindy (Greg) Beason, Jessica (Lucas) Chitwood, Whitman (Laura) Bilderback, Shayne (Jandro) Suarez, Shaylnn Corgan, Chad (Emily) Corgan, Kyle (Jane) Corgan and Candace Corgan, and nine great-grandchildren and a host of many other relatives and friends.
