Betty Ferguson Britt Was born November 6, 1950 in Blytheville, AR to Lucille Martin Ferguson and James W. Ferguson, she died Friday; October 5, 2012 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO at the age of 61 years, 10 months and 29 days. She was united in marriage to Gary W. Cook and to this union her 3 children were born, she later married Edward Wayne Britt, he preceded her in death 1 child was born. Preceding her in death also, was her father, James W. Ferguson in 2009 and one son, Randy Wayne Cook in 1969. She had just previously retired from the United States Postal Service after 24 years, she was a member of the Kewanee Missionary Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She leaves to cherish her memories her mother, Lucille Ferguson of Marston, MO, one son, Gary D. (Cassie) Cook of Matthews, Mo, daughters, Lori Cook of New Madrid, MO & Kristina (Eric) Humphrey of New Madrid, MO step-daughter, Faith Hubley of Huffman, AR, brothers, Donald Ferguson of Marston MO, James (Mary) Ferguson of Marston, MO , special sister, Jeanie Redden of Kewanee, MO, 16 Grandchildren; Christopher, Sierra, & Josh Brown, Alicia, Kylie, Trae & Kamryn Cook, Eric, Tyler, Alyssa & Austyn Humphrey, Tia Trussel, Shebley Hubley, Dalton & Sabrina Elliot & Hunter Britt , 3 Great - Grandchildren, Gracelynn Vandever, Bryan Lee Brown & Maleah Trussel and a host of many other relatives and friends.
