Barbara Beis Kembel Was born July 9, 1974 in Hayti, MO to Dorothy Kraemer Beis and the late Charles Anthony Beis, Jr.; granddaughter of the late Charles & Virginia Beis & Milton & Dorothy Kraemer. She died Tuesday March 2, 2010 at Golden Living Center, New Madrid, MO at the age of 35 years, 7 months and 24 days. She was preceded in death by her father Charles Anthony Beis Jr. on July 3, 2005. She was a member of the St. Eustachius Catholic Church in Portageville, MO. She went to St. Eustachius School, graduated from Portageville High School and attended SEMO University. Barb worked as a Sales Rep. at Southwestern Bell in Cape and with Blue Cross Blue Shield as a Claims Rep. She taught herself sign language to work with deaf children and worked 2 summers for SIU in "Back to Nature" with handicap children. Barb loved singing karaoke where her voice won many contests and made many friends. Barb lived at her home in Poplar Bluff until she became ill 6 months ago. She leaves to cherish her memories her mother, Dorothy Beis of Portageville, MO; 2 brothers, Charles (Pam) Beis III & James Beis both of Portageville, MO; 4 sisters: Dr. Karen (Chuck) Armour of Brighton, TN, Nancy (Paul) Noland of Perryville, MO, Angela (Phillip) Allgier of Fredericktown, MO & Mary (Jimmy) Alsup of Sikeston, MO; 17 nieces & nephews: Jeremy, Tara & Braiden Ruby of Marston, Jackie, Deanna, Blake & Briley Weddington of Portageville, Brandon Beis of Festus, Charles, Jessica & Payson Beis of Herculaneum, Nikki, Jayla & Kaylee Weddington of Portageville, Charles, Caleb, Brett, Blake & Michael Armour of Brighton, TN, Seth, Ryan & Nathan Noland of Perryville, Caitlyn & Eli Allgier of Fredericktown & Jacob & MacKenzie Alsup of Sikeston and a host of other relatives and friends.
