Avondale Gammons

On October 1 ^st , 2020 Avondale Junior Gammons a loving person to everyone and father of two, passed away at the age of 49 years at Dyersburg, TN Hospital.

Dale, was born August 11 ^th , 1971 at Hayti, Mo to Avon & Joyce Gammons, he attended school in Portageville, MO. He held many positions in the workforce and an outstanding musician. Music was his passion and he played with some of the best. He loved hunting, fishing, and a good cook. He also loved his cat Caesar.

At the time of death, he was married to Melinda (Hedge) Gammons. Preceding him in death was his father Avon Gammons and one brother Chester Dean Liles.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother Joyce Gammons of Baldwyn MS, his son, Christian Gammons of Cave City. Ark, his daughter, Kelsey Reed of Memphis, TN, a brother Max Ray Liles of Baldwyn, MS, two sisters, Evona Gammons of Ecru, MS, Gail Gammons of Water Valley, MS and a host of many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be at DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville, MO on Oct 9 ^th , 2020 from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11. He will be laid to rest with his father in Portageville Cemetery
