Arville Owen McGill Jr. "JR" Was born October 4, 1940 in Baderville, MO to Sybol Ray and Owen A. McGil Sr. He died Saturday, July 20, 2013 at his home in Jackson, Mo at the age of 72 years ,9 months and 16 days. He was united in marriage to Linda McGill in Portageville Mo on Nov. 16, 1963, she survives of the home. He was a graduate of Portageville High School, where he enjoyed football and was a member of the Band. He served in the Missouri National Guard, was a Sales Representative with several Agriculture Companies and a past Farm Bureau insurance agent. He was a member of the Christ Church of the Heartland in Cape Girardeau, MO. Preceding him in death, were his parents, Sybol Ray McGill & Owen A. McGill Sr. his brother, Robert "Bob" Carlisle and his foster brother, Billy Tom Jowers. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Linda McGill of Jackson, Mo, one son, Richard McGill of Kansas, three daughters and sons-in-law, Michelle Huddleston of Sikeston, Mo, Tammy and Mike Melton of Parkin Arkansas, Janet and Darren DeLoach of Jackson MO. His foster sister, Patsy Ann Totty of Atlanta, GA, 10 grandchildren, Hunter McGill, Joseph McGill, Sawyer McGill, Bradley Patterson, Wesley Patterson, C.J. Huddleston, Caleb DeLoach, Grace DeLoach, Hannah DeLoach, Micah DeLoach and a host many other relatives and friends.
