Ann Catherine (Hulshof) Schwendemann

W as born January 7, 1948 in Cape Girardeau, MO to Herman Hulshof and Stella (Durbin) Hulshof. She died Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Sikeston Convalescent Center at the age of 68 years, 2 months and 15 days.

S he was united in marriage to Robert Joseph Schwendemann on August 24, 1968 in Portageville, MO.   He preceded her in death October 16, 2001, also preceding her in death were her parents, Herman & Stella (Durbin) Hulshof, her sisters, Agnes Hulshof & Mary Ellen Trenery, brothers, Edward, Stephen & Louis Hulshof.   She was a faithful member of St Eustachius Catholic Church where she served on Ladies of Sodality. She started her career at McCrate Equipment as a bookkeeper, but her ultimate job was giving her tender love to her children and grandchildren. Mrs Ann loved anything to do with the outdoors, especially when it came to helping her boys with the farm.

S he leaves to cherish her many memories her sons and daughters-in-law, Sean Schwendemann of Old Mines, MO, Michael & Vannesa Schwendemann of Cape Girardeau, MO, Phillip & Destinee Schwendemann of New Madrid, MO, Kevin & Beth Schwendemann of Portageville, MO, her daughters & sons-in-law, Christine & Dean Spurlock of Sikeston, MO, Darlene & Bill Jobe of Chaffee, MO, Carrie & Kevin Renaud of Charleston, MO, Laura & Rob Kavaliauskas of Cape Girardeau, MO, one brother & sister-in-law, Robert & Donna Hulshof of Portageville, MO, one sister & brother-in-law, Theresa & Thomas Bean of Lenexa, KS, 16 Glorious Grandchildren: Julia & Payton Spurlock, Joshua Schwendemann, Andrew & Jessica Jobe, Hannah Schwendemann, Emma, Joseph & Mirabella Schwendemann, Marianne & Matthew Renaud, Ava, Luke & a special delivery soon to be here, Teddy Kavaliauskas, Brooklyn & Gabrielle Schwendemann, & host of many other nieces, nephews, family & friends.
