Allen Lynn Lane Was born April 3, 1950 in Gideon, MO to Eva Marie Lewis Lane and Herbert Lane. He died March 24, 2008 at his home in the J.Y. Community, Portageville, MO at the age of 57 years, 11 months and 21 days. Preceding him in death were his parents, Eva Marie Lewis Lane & Herbert Lane; one son, John Allen Lane; two brothers: James "Sonny" & Herbert Lane. He leaves to cherish his memories 1 daughter: Lana Marie (Eddie) Gordon of Poplar Bluff, MO; 2 sisters: Mary "Cookie" (Russell) Hoggard of Portageville, MO & Lana Elizabeth Lane of Green Valley, AZ; 1 daughter-in-law, Kim Lane; 4 grandchildren: John Allen Lane, Jr., & Lauren Lane of Portageville, MO, Savannah & Sunni Lane of Poplar Bluff, MO; 1 niece, 4 nephews; 5 great-nieces & 4 great-nephews along with many other relatives and friends. Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday March 26, 2008 at the DeLisle Funeral Chapel with Brother Dewight Bryant officiating. Pall Bearers: Russ Hoggard, Jeremy Freeman, Todd Hoggard, Herbie Paul Lane, Jonathan Lane, Andy Lane & Forrester Lukas. Honorary: James Paul Manson, Lance Walls, Jon Pat Ellington, Russell Hoggard, Robbie Miller & Ernie Morgan. Interment followed in Portageville Cemetery with DeLisle Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
