She died Sunday, March 20, 2011 at Golden Living Center in New Madrid, MO at the age of 84 years, 3 months and 20 days. She was united in marriage to Theodore "Tee" Brands on January 20, 1951 in Portageville, MO He preceded her in death on May 30, 1992 also preceding her in death, were her parents, Mary Arnzen Beussink & Anthony Beussink and brothers Franklin Beussink, Phillip Beussink, Charles Beussink, Joseph Beussink. She was a member of the St. Eustachius Catholic Church and Ladies Sodality. She leaves to cherish her memories, five Sons: Stephen Brands of Jackson, MO, Randy Brands of Portageville, MO, Jeff Brands of New Madrid, MO, John Brands of Florida and David Brands of Portageville, MO, two daughters, Lisa Dohogne of Cape Girardeau, MO and Mary Samples of Portageville, MO: three sisters, Catherine (Herman) Brands of Portageville, MO, Pat Bollinger of Marble Hill and Linda Brown of Jackson, MO; four brothers, Bill Beussink of Jackson, MO, Fred Beussink, David Beussink, and Harold Beussink, all of Leopold; Sixteen grandchildren, Stacy Dohogne Lane, Allison Dohogne, Mary Dohogne, Cody Samples, Cooper Samples, Caroline Samples, Myles Stafford, Adam Brands, Leslie Jenkins, Joshua Brands, Alisa Ebert, Amber Brands, Kelsie Brands, Jessica Morris, April Muller and Rebecca Hickman , ten great grandchildren, and a host many other relatives and friends.
