To help you understand Funeral Cost we have an outline of the categories that make up a funeral account.  There are basically four sections that make up the total funeral account: First; Professiional Service, Facilities and Transportation Charges, Second; Casket & Merchandise Selections, Third; Cash Disbursement and Fourth imposed taxes on applicable items.

To aid consumers, The FTC provides that all funeral homes must provide an itemized price list of all of their related Professional Service Charges as well as casket and merchandise charges. This list must be availiable at the funeral home at the consumers' request without cost or obligation.

We take pride in  being one of the most resonable priced funeral homes in the area, although many families expect our charges to be much higher given the level of professionalism, quality of facilities and ethical standards. Because of the quality of our services and the fact that we offer many services that our competitors do not we are sometimes not the least expensive. CASKET & MERCHANDISE SECLECTIONS

This section is sepecific to the casket that the family selects.  All of our caskets and merchandise is price separately- meaning the price you see for the casket is for the casket itself. Price range is $500 to 8000.00  Some of the other types of merchandise you find in this section of the fneral accout are Burial Vaults, Crematinos Urns and extra DVD, candles, and the memorial folder package.

CASH DISBURSEMENTS - Cash Advances

These are as they imply. These are costs to the families we serve that are not actual funeral home charges. These costs are handled in a variety of ways, we encourage you to discuss these items with us and discover the most convenient manner in which to handle those that apply.

Typical cash disbursements might include:

Your wishes can be put into writing to give your family direction when the time for the funeral comes. Our staff will help you plan so that your family can carry out your wishes.

Online Memorials

We can set up an online memorial for your loved one. Our online memorials provide information for guests about the funeral services and also provide a tribute to your loved one. Guests will be able to gain information about dates, times and locations of funeral services. Guests will also be able to order flowers, make donations and sign a guest book through the memorial. The family will have access to the memorial to add photos to create a photo gallery for their loved one. By providing information to guests about services, our online memorials help lessen the load on a family during a difficult time. The memorials also serve to pay tribute to your family's loved one.

Obituaries

We will prepare an obituary to be published for your loved one.  Every family member will leave with a picture lainated obiituary of their choice, of their loved one.

Veteran's Benefits

We will help you secure your potential veterans benefits, such as burial flags, government markers, memorial certificate and a burial plot. Also insure the full military rites service for the veteran.

Social Security

We will notify the Social Security Administration of the death. We will explain and help you apply for any benefits you may be entitled to through Social Security.

Death Certificates

We will help you in obtaining a death certificate which can be important for insurance purposes as well a host of other issues.

After Care

Sometimes the loss of a loved one can be especially painful. We understand that the grieving process does not end with the funeral. Along with the pictures of the flowers, the list and obits, we offer each family we serve a memorial candle. We offer around 15 different themes for the family to have.

This candle will be taken home by our family, and is included in our memorial package.

They are created using a process that combines modern scanning technology with the ancient are of cire perdue or lost wax casting.
